Meghan and Harry snuggle up in coordinating knitwear on a visit to Birmingham8th Mar 18 | Fashion
The royal couple were attending an event to mark International Women's Day.
The ‘Beast from the East’ may have subsided, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opted for chic winter warmers on their first official visit to Birmingham today.
Arriving in the city for an event to mark International Women’s Day, it looked like the couple had coordinated their outfits, both wearing navy coats, dark trousers and pale knitwear.
Markle’s belted J Crew coat featured cream detailing on the collar. She carried a navy £1,160 Altuzarra handbag and wore black Manolo Blahnik heels.
Once inside, the former actress took off her coat to reveal Alexander Wang cropped trousers and a cream oversized All Saints jumper which is now almost sold out online.
With Prince Harry in a fawn coloured cashmere jumper and navy trousers, the pair, who are set to marry on May 19, looked subtly synchronised without being too matchy-matchy, and their relaxed outfits felt appropriate for an event intended to encourage young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects.
It was another sartorial walk in the park for the stylish couple, who seem totally at ease in their royal roles, and with each other.
