Kevin Connolly says he stopped eating immediately when he found out he had several sex scenes in the new Entourage movie.
Kevin Connolly was "immediately nervous" when he found out about his sex scenes in the Entourage movie.
The 41-year-old actor reprises his role as Eric 'E' Murphy in the new big-screen adaptation of the hit TV show.
But he says when he read the script for the movie, he found himself panicking about having to strip off.
"Nervous immediately," he replied when asked by the American edition of Esquire how he felt about the sex scenes. "You stop eating. Men do that, too. The first thing you do is to stop eating and you start going to the gym a lot. On the day I had my sex scene, I came in a little early. I had been working out like crazy and I'd been dieting and I was so hungry. More than anything, I just wanted to get this scene over with."
In the original HBO series, which ran from 2004 to 2011, Kevin's character wasn't inundated with sex scenes.
So when it came to having to shed his clothes for the new adventure, he turned to actor Liam Neeson, who cameos in the film for some advice.
"I was sitting in the make-up trailer and there was nobody in there and I was waiting for them to come put body make-up on me and Liam Neeson walks in the trailer," Kevin explained. "There's me at one end and Liam Neeson at the other end of the trailer and I'm in a bathrobe with no clothes on. I'm like, 'Nice to meet you. I'm Kevin.' He said, 'Yes, you are. What are you doing?' I was like, 'I'm getting ready to do this sex scene. I haven't eaten in a couple days and I've been working out like crazy.' He goes, 'Yeah. But you've gotta do it. You can't eat.' "
