Introducing Deirdre O' Sullivan

Deirdre applied to bump to baby as this is a surprise pregnancy and will be her last time having a child.

Deirdre, her partner Paul and children are currently living in an overcrowded house at moment which can be tough at times, so she wanted something positive to focus on during her pregnancy.

Deirdre's five-year-old Logan was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy so Deirdre is currently a carer for him.

Deirdre is the middle child of five with two older sisters and two younger brothers. Her brother Dermot was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and passed away at age 17. Deirdre’s uncle had the same condition and died at 11 years of age.

Deirdre is a carrier of this condition and only realised this when Logan was diagnosed.

Deirdre is attending Holles Street Hospital & is looking forward to her fourth and final pregnancy!
