At any one time in Ireland, there are thousands of cats and dogs waiting to be rehomed.

Due to the increasingly high numbers of animals being abandoned, rescue centres are struggling to cope with increased running costs and sufficient numbers of volunteers so how do we help fix this growing problem? 

Our resident vet Pete Wedderburn joined us to tell us more and he brought along a few furry friends.
