Healthy turkey burgers with sweet potato wedges

Turkey is a great source of protein and eating it regularly can help lower cholesterol levels. These turkey burgers are a very tasty yet healthy recipe!


  • 500g lean minced turkey
    1 small onion
    1 teaspoon chilli
    1 tablespoon chill flavoured seeds
    1 egg
    Dash of Worcester sauce
    4 sweet potatoes
    Olive oil
    1 tablespoon paprika


  1. Heat oven to 200C.

  2. Dice onion and mix with mince, paprika, Worcester sauce, chopped seeds and egg in a bowl. Once well mixed, make into 6 patties.

  3. Chop wedges into wedges, place on baking tray and drizzle with olive oil ( 2 tablespoon), paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Place in oven for 30-40 min

  4. After 10 min place burgers on another baking tray and place in over for 20-30min.

  5. Serve with side salad.
