Cute clothes to inspire and fire up the imagination of little girls

Cute clothes to inspire and fire up the imagination of little girls.

We’re loving the idea behind new company Hello Bezlo, which aims to create ethically produced clothes for little girls that are inspiring, not insipid!

Irish nurse Clodagh Carroll, 27, came up with the concept, inspired by her 4-year-old niece who loved playing “rocket girl”, blasting off into space. When Clodagh went to buy her something space themed, all the clothes were aimed at boys.

The idea was to create clothes for active, imaginative little girls, not to make them choose either girlie or tomboy. Bezlo girls need clothes they can climb trees in, as well as dance and twirl, with lots of pockets for secret treasures, and maybe the occasional tutu, or superheroine cape.

So far the standout dresses are the Rocket Girl dress, covered in constellations with an epic cape, and the Girl Code dress, (perfect for techie girls to wear to CoderDojo!) with a pattern made of Hello Bezlo written in binary code. The dresses are available in sizes for ages 2-10.

The hashtag #bezlogirl has been catching on in the world of Instagram and Clodagh has been able to brainstorm ideas to come up with the things that her little customers want!

Clodagh is currently on Kickstarter, a website that allows you to pre-order pieces from the collection, which helps fund the business.

It’s the perfect Christmas gift for the adventurous little girl in your life.
