Congratulations are in order for Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, who has revealed she’s set to marry musician boyfriend Joe Jonas. She shared the news on Instagram by posting a photo of her engagement ring (how big is that diamond?) and the caption ‘I said yes’.

I said yes.

We’re already excited about this wedding because the 21-year-old, who has been dating Joe (one third of American pop trio the Jonas Brothers) for about a year, always impresses on the red carpet.  We’re expecting a seriously stylish frock when she walks down the aisle.

Since she started playing Sansa Stark in season one of the phenomenally popular TV series in 2011, the actress has wowed at premieres and awards shows alike, pouring her enviable five foot nine frame into a plethora of glamorous gowns, cool cocktail dresses and chic suits.

In anticipation of the celebrity pair’s forthcoming nuptials, we take a look back at some of Sophie’s most fabulous fashion moments.

Stunning in black

At the Game of Thrones season four premiere, Sophie went for the all black look in a fitted trouser suit with lace detailing teamed with classic black court shoes.

Going bright
Not one to shy away from bright colours and prints, at the Empire Magazine Film Awards 2014 the actress rocked a graphic minidress by London Fashion Week designer Mary Katrantzou.

Working that column dress
Again showing support for a London based brand, Sophie chose a column dress by Michael van der Ham for the 2014 British Academy Television Awards.

Asymmetrical style
Rocking the asymmetrical hem trend in an sheer dress with overlay detailing, Sophie pulled off an unusual look at the show’s season five premiere by keeping her hair, make-up and accessories simple.

An unforgettable ebony gown
With those flowing auburn locks, it’s no wonder Sophie loves an ebony gown so much. This beaded number at the X-Men: Apocalypse fan screening – she stars as Jean Grey in the superhero franchise – is a real standout.

Glamorous in grey
At the 2016 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Sophie took home the UK TV Actress gong and scored major style points in this grey Kenzo cocktail dress.

Green gorgeousness
This understated emerald green top and trousers combo was the perfect choice for the 2017 Bafta nominees event, which Sophie presented with fellow actor Dominic Cooper.

Shining in metallic
Showing off her lengthy pins, when it came to the Bafta Awards red carpet Sophie opted for a gorgeous metallic gown by Louis Vuitton, a brand she often works with.

And… a wedding dress look?
Sophie was dressed by Louis Vuitton again for this year’s Met Gala, which she attended with Joe Jonas, wearing a Grecian style gown that looks a lot like a wedding dress. Is this the kind of style the star will go for on her Big Day? We can’t wait to find out.
