These are the areas that will experience water restrictions from Monday
Irish Water have confirmed the areas that will be affected by water restrictions in Dublin and the greater Dublin area as the drought conditions of recent weeks so no signs of easing.
The restrictions will be in place from 10pm to 5am from Monday and will last for at least a week
The areas affected are:
-City Centre North and South
All affected areas will be under a Level 2 restriction, which means there will be a reduction in pressure at night-time.
Irish Water also warned that daytime restrictions could be introduced at a later date if needed.
The move follows a hosepipe ban which was issued for the whole country earlier in the month and have been urging people to conserve water since the sunny period began.
The new restrictions are aimed at helping to refill reservoirs in order to avoid outages in the Autumn.
Nighttime water restrictions are already in place for some regions of country, all of which are currently displayed on an interactive map on the Irish Water website.
