Kodaline forced to pull out of gigs following shock news for fans

Kodaline took to social media last night to tell fans they won't be performing at London's Victoria Park next weekend as singer Steve Garrigan is still recovering from an operation.

The Dublin singer had emergency surgery on his back last month but on doctors’ orders, he has been told his back will not be physically capable of a performance.

Taking to Facebook to share the news, the band wrote:

"We’re gutted to announce that unfortunately we will not be able to make our appearance at Neighbourhood Weekender 2018.

As most of you know, Steve had to go in for emergency surgery on his back three weeks ago and we were hoping he would be able to recover quickly enough for this show.
Sadly, on doctors’ orders, he has been told his back will not be physically capable of a performance.

We’re so sorry to let those attending down and we hope you understand. We will be back as soon as we can!

This will not affect other shows which will go ahead as planned."
