Tech retailer Click.ie took to Facebook to announce that it is temporarily closed and is seeking liquidation.

Click.ie, which is the trading name of Cantec Office Solutions, has come into difficulty over the past few months when customers reported that items they had ordered and paid for, failed to arrive on time.

According to thejournal.ie, a lot of customers also reported that Click.ie didn’t respond to queries on the orders or complaints via email or over the phone.

The business mainly specialises in selling refurbished electrical gadgets such as mobile phones and tablets and although its main business comes from their website, they have seven stores around the country.

Last week the company took to Facebook to announce it was temporarily closed and that PJ Lynch Insolvency Practitioner is acting as the proposed liquidator.

An official liquidator will be appointed on 24th April at a creditors’ meeting.

Speaking to thejournal.ie, Lynch said that they had already been contacted by approximately 150 customers regarding items they purchased from the company but have yet to receive.
