Today is the day that Westlife fans have been waiting FOREVER for10th Nov 17 | News
Louis Walsh has confirmed that Westlife WILL return!!
The Mayo band manager reckons it is “definitely” going to happen, but that he can't put an exact date on their return yet.
The Irish group disbanded in 2012 after selling 50 million records, with remaining members Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan deciding to go their separate ways. Brian McFadden left the band in 2004 to pursue a solo career.
Louis told RSVP Magazine:
“A Westlife reunion is definitely going to happen… but I have no idea when.
I’m still really good friends with all of the lads. I think the reunion will be great, but its up to them to decide when they will do it.”
Last year Westlife's Nicky told said that the band were game for a reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of the band's 1998 formation.
"I don't think it would take much to get us back together," he said. "In a couple of years time it will be the 20th anniversary and you could probably use that and maybe people will be interested."
Croke Park 2018 anyone????
