MUNSTER
CORK
The N22 Cork/Killarney Rd is reportedly blocked between Hartnett's Cross and Macroom due to a fallen tree. Further east, there is reportedly another fallen tree blocking the road at Lissarda.
The N72 Killarney/Dungarvan Rd has reopened between Tallow and Fermoy.
Fallen trees have been cleared from the Kanturk/Ballymaquirk Rd (R579) near Mallow.
The Midleton/Dungourney Rd (R627) is blocked by a fallen tree.
There is a fallen tree blocking Canon’s Cross in Inishcarra on the Coachford/Carrigrohane Rd (R618).
Western Rd in Clonakilty is blocked by two fallen trees.
The Macroom Rd in Bandon has reopened at St. Brogan's School.
Two trees are down on the Bandon/Timoleague Rd (R602).
There’s a tree down near the cemetery on the local Waterloo/Newcastle Rd outside Blarney.
A fallen tree is blocking Ray’s Cross in Doneraile.
The Buttevant/Newcastle Rd (R522) is impassable between Liscarroll and Dromcolliher.
A fallen tree is blocking the Glanmire/Watergrasshill Rd (R635) between Glanmire Village and Riverstown Cross.
The Innishannon/Kinsale Rd (R605) is closed at Shippool due to a fallen tree.
A tree is down at Millbrook, Monkstown. The road is blocked as a result.
The Rochestown Rd (R610) in Passage West has reopened.

CORK CITY:
Fallen power lines are fully blocking Sunday’s Well Rd in the city near the Winters Hill jct. Nearby, Winters Hill off Blarney St is blocked due to fallen signage. Use an alternative route.
Centre Park Rd in the city is impassable due to a number of fallen trees. Avoid.
Power lines are down outside Douglas Community College on South Douglas Rd. Avoid this route.
Traffic on Model Farm Rd in the city is disrupted due to a fallen tree before the Carrigrohane R/A.
A tree is down on Melbourn Rd in Bishopstown.
The Marina in the city is closed near Pairc Ui Chaoimh due to a fallen tree.
There’s a tree down on the Bishopstown Rd in the city, near the Hawkes Rd jct.
KERRY
Gardai are advising motorists to completely avoid the Kenmare/Castletown-Bearhaven Rd (R571) as there are many fallen trees on this route and conditions are treacherous.
A fallen tree is blocking Molls Gap (R568) near the tunnel.
A fallen tree has been cleared from the N71 Ring of Kerry near Gortamullen, Kenmare and also near the turn-off for Ballinskelling.
The N70 Ring of Kerry is now passable on the Caherciveen side of Glenbeigh Village following flooding.
A fallen tree has been cleared from the Ross Rd in Killarney.
A fallen tree on the Upper Park Rd in Killarney, near the post office has been cleared.
The bridge from Caherciveen to Castlequin is no longer blocked by a tree.
WATERFORD
The N72 Dungarvan/Fermoy Rd is blocked just north of Tallow. This is at a dangerous bend so extra care is advised. Elsewhere in this route, fallen trees have been removed between Lismore and Ballyduff.
There are no further reports of fallen trees on the N25 Waterford/Cork Rd between Waterford City and Youghal.
There are fallen trees on a number of routes in Waterford City, including Cleaboy Rd, Belvedere Manor, Gracedieu Rd and the Outer Ring Rd, but Gardai report these routes are passable.
The Promenade/Strand Rd in Tramore is closed until the weather alert has passed.
There is a fallen tree on the Carrick-on-Suir/Kilmacthomas Rd (R676) at Crehanagh
Mary St in Dungarvan remains closed until further notice due to falling roof slates.
The Ballycullane Rd (R671) has reopened at Aglish following a fatal collision.
The N25 Cork/Waterford Rd is no longer blocked by fallen trees at the Dungarvan Bypass between Shandon R/A and Strandside R/A.
LIMERICK
There’s a fallen tree on the Limerick/Cashel Rd (R505) between Cappamore and Doon.
There is a fallen tree on the N69 Foynes/Tarbert Rd just outside Foynes.
There are reports of several trees down on the N21 Limerick/Tralee Rd between Adare and Croagh.
There is reportedly a large tree on the Newcastle West/Foynes Rd (R521) between Ardagh and Shanagolden.
TIPPERARY
The N74 Cashel/Tipperary Rd remains closed between Cashel and Golden due to fallen power cables.
Gardaí report a large number of fallen trees have been cleared in the Tipperary Town area, including from the Dundrum Rd and Emly Rd.
A tree is no longer at risk of falling on the Kilross Rd (R662) out of Tipperary Town.
The Birdhill/Toomevara Rd (R499) is no longer blocked by fallen trees between Silvermines and Dolla.
The Templemoore/Dunkerrin Rd has reopened as a fallen tree has been cleared.
There are reportedly no longer fallen trees on the Mountain Rd (678) outside Clonmel.
CONNACHT
GALWAY
The Promenade in Salthill remains closed both ways until further notice between Grattan Rd and the golf course, and is expected to reopen later in the morning. Gardai report a lot of debris on the road and are warning people to stay away from the Salthill area.There are no further reports of surface water on roads in the Claddagh or on Fr. Griffin Rd at the Spanish Arch or on the Dock Rd.
There is no longer a fallen tree on the Ballinasloe/Kilconnell Rd (R348) at Garrymore.
The N84 Galway/Headford Rd is no longer blocked by a fallen tree at Clonboo.
LEINSTER
DUBLIN
Glenamuck Rd, Cabinteely is passable with care between Enniskerry Rd and Tig Mo Croi as the Council is working to remove a fallen tree.
Brennanstown Rd in Cabinteely is blocked by fallen trees.
Ulverton Rd remains closed due to a fallen tree.
A fallen tree is blocking Northwood Ave at its jct with Swords Rd.
Reports of a fallen tree on Cappagh Rd on the Ballycoolin side of Kilshane Cross. Traffic is down to one lane.
A fallen tree is blocking Clonee Rd at Ongar.
There is a fallen tree on Riverstown Rd at Ashtown.
There is a fallen tree in the bus lane of the Malahide Rd inbound near the cinema in Coolock.
There are reports of debris and fallen trees on Milltown Rd with Dartry Rd reportedly blocked at Highfield Rd jct.
There’s a fallen tree at the jct of Kildare Rd/ Clonard Rd.
There's a fallen tree on Carpenterstown Rd at Cottonwood.
KILDARE
The Monasterevin/Portlaoise Rd (R445/Old N7) is blocked just outside Monasterevin due to fallen trees.
Gardai are advising road users to avoid the Strabally Rd (R428) outside Athy due to a number of fallen electricity poles.
There’s a fallen tree on the Maynooth/Leixlip Rd (R148) near the entrance to Carton House.
The local Straffan/Kill Rd is blocked at Whitechurch due to a fallen tree.
The Craddockstown Rd is blocked outside Naas between the nursing home and Punchestown due to a fallen tree.
WICKLOW
Cookstown Rd in Enniskerry is only open for local access near the entrance to the Summerhill Hotel due fallen power lines and a fallen tree.
The Enniskerry/Bray Rd (R117) is partially blocked by a fallen tree between Bray and the N11.
LONGFORD
The Edgesworthstown/Castlepollard Rd (R395) remains closed due to a fallen tree.
The Longford/Mullingar Rd (R393) is blocked between Ballycloghan and Carrickboy due to a fallen tree.
The N55 Cavan/Athlone Rd has fully reopened between Granard and Edgeworthstown. HGVs will not be able to pass.
WEXFORD
There are still fallen trees on the N25 on the Waterford side of New Ross but Gardaí say the road is passable.
The N25 Wexford Bypass is reportedly now passable between New Ross Rd R/A and Duncannon Rd R/A due to a fallen tree.
There are reportedly still several fallen trees in the Gorey area, including on the Clogh Rd (R722) and on the Carnew Rd (R725), approx. 1km outside Gorey.
CARLOW
The N80 Carlow/Wexford Rd is partially blocked by fallen trees between Kilnock and Ballon.
KILKENNY
The Carlow/Thomastown Rd (R448) is now passable at Gowran Racecourse following the removal of a fallen tree.
The Kells/Kilkenny Rd (R697) is now passable 2km's from the Kells Rd R/A on the Kells side of St. Patrick's Hospital following the removal of a fallen tree.
The Graiguenamanagh/St. Mullin's Rd (R705) is passable now 1km outside Graiguenamanagh following the removal of fallen trees and power cables.
In Thomastown, a collapsed wall is blocking Maudlin St (R700) and Gardai say road users should not use this route.
MEATH
Outside Dunboyne, the Summerhill Rd (R156) is blocked at Baytowncross due to a fallen tree.
The N52 Kells/Ardee Rd is still blocked at both Drakerath and Staholmog due to a number of fallen trees on this route.
In Kells, there is still a fallen tree on the Navan Rd (R147).
A fallen tree has been removed from the N51 Navan/Slane Rd at Dunmoe and elsewhere from the main road in Johnstown in Navan.
Electricity poles have been removed from the Kells/Slane Rd (R163) near Oristown.
Two separate fallen trees on the Wilkinstown/Navan Rd (R162) have been cleared.
The Old N4 (R148) is still reportedly blocked at Ardnamullen on the Kinnegad side of Clonard due to a fallen tree.
The Castlepollard/Virginia Rd (R195) is still blocked by fallen trees on either side of Oldcastle.
WESTMEATH
There is a tree down on Retreat Rd in Athlone.
There’s a fallen tree on the N52 Mullingar/Kells Rd just outside Cloghan.
The Castlepollard/Virginia Rd (R195) is completely blocked by fallen trees on either side of Oldcastle.
A fallen tree has been cleared from the N55 Ballymahon Rd outside Athlone.
Fallen electricity poles are no longer blocking the Mullingar Rd in Kinnegad at Corkhill.
LOUTH
Gardai say a fallen tree has been cleared on the Dundalk Rd (R173) in Carlingford.
The Clermont Rd outside Dundalk remains closed at Greenfields due to an incident. Use an alternative route.
There is still a fallen tree blocking North Strand at Donor Green outside Drogheda.
Gardai say there is a lot of debris to watch out for around Termonfeckin.
LAOIS
The Portlaoise/Portarlington Rd (R419) has reopened following the removal of fallen trees.
TRAVEL
Following the Status Red Wind Warning, a number of public transport services have been affected.
LUAS:
All services are suspended and not expected to resume until lunchtime today (17th) at the earliest. Dublin Bus are accepting valid Luas tickets.
BUS EIREANN:
Cancelled services have resumed on today (17th), except for school services.
IRISH RAIL:
Intercity, Commuter and DART routes are operating, subject to delays due to debris on the line and low rail adhesion. The Limerick to Balybrophy via Nenagh service is cancelled with a bus transfer in place.
DUBLIN BUS:
All services have resumed. Some minor diversions are in place due to a tree down on Ulverton Rd.
DUBLIN TRAFFIC
Inbound on the N4 Lucan Rd is slow from J4 Newcastle to the M50 Interchange.
Traffic remains slow inbound on the Stillorgan Rd inbound from Nutley Lane to Donnybrook.
There is a collision on the Rock Rd inbound after Booterstown Ave but it's not causing a major delay.
Mobhi Rd is slow onto the Phibsborough Rd which remains very busy inbound from Hart's Corner to Doyle's Corner. Finglas Rd is also slow coming up to Hart's Corner.
Inbound on the Swords Rd has delays from Whitehall Flyover through to Drumcondra.
Eastbound along the Grand Canal is very busy from Harold's Cross to Leeson St.
Inbound on Amiens St has delays from North Strand to Connolly Station.
Slow inbound from Con Colbert Rd to Heuston Station. The North Quays are also very busy from Wolfe Tone Quay to Bachelors Walk.
No major delays on the M50 in either direction.
CITY TRAFFIC.
CORK:
There is a crash on the Old Blackrock Rd near South Infirmary Hospital.
Traffic is very slow on the N28 Ringaskiddy Rd heading down Carrs Hill.
There are just the usual delays in Cork city centre.
GALWAY:
There are heavy delays into the city on the N6 approaching the Coolagh R/A, where Bothar na dTreabh is also heavy from the Martin R/A.
It's heavy approaching the Dublin Rd from the Coast Rd, with inbound delays continuing on the Dublin Rd to Merlin Park.
Kingston Rd is very busy inbound from the Shangort Rd jct to the Threadneedle Rd
LIMERICK:
Traffic is moving well throughout Limerick City.
WATERFORD:
No major issues for traffic in the city.
