Dove APOLOGISES after 'racist' advert leaves consumers disgusted

Dove has apologised for a "racist" advert where a black woman turns white.
The advert, which was published on the brand's Facebook page, shows a black woman remove her brown shirt to reveal a white woman after she uses Dove soap.
Social media users immediately called the advert "blatantly racist" and "deeply ignorant". The instant backlash resulted in the company (owned by Unilever) to remove the advert.
A company spokesman tweeted:
"An image we recently posted on Facebook missed the mark in representing women of colour thoughtfully. We deeply regret the offence it caused."
