Erdem x H&M launches this week: These are the pieces you should snap up before they sell out30th Oct 17 | Beauty
You must have a shopping list at the ready if you want to have a hope of nabbing the best of the H&M x Erdem collection.
There are only three sleeps to go until the next hugely anticipated Erdem x H&M collection, which is released in stores and online at 9am on Thursday November 2.
As with all of the Swedish retailer’s highly sought-after collaborations, you can guarantee that a hefty proportion of the 82-piece range for men and women will disappear within minutes. So whether you’re queuing up at one of the eight UK stores that will be stocking it, or hitting refresh on the H&M website every three seconds from 8.55am onwards, you need to know what you’re aiming to buy in advance.
There is NO time for dillydallying when it comes to Erdem at affordable prices, people.
The good news is, pictures of all the items – which range from around £20 for jewellery to £150 for a handbag – have already been revealed, so you can peruse now and (fingers crossed) purchase later. Here’s our pick of the best pieces from the Erdem x H&M collection.
1. Black floral blazer, £149.99
A stunning update on the classic black double-breasted jacket, this statement blazer combines a mannish silhouette with Erdem’s signature florals. There are matching trousers in the collection but we think this would look amazing paired with faded frayed-hem jeans and jewelled courts.
2. Black maxi dress, £149.99
There are nine gorgeous dresses to choose from in the Erdem x H&M collab, but this is by far the most spectacular. With a graduated hem, nipped in waist and voluminous skirt, this is the kind of gown you can really make an entrance in.
3. Black floral full skirt, £119.99
At the celeb-filled launch party in New York, actress Zendaya wore this midi skirt with a cornflower blue cable knit jumper (also from the collection), giving us major glam Fifties housewife vibes. You could also team it with any of the range’s frilly lace blouses.
4. Leopard print coat, £149.99
Looking for longevity from your Erdem x H&M acquisitions? Then you can’t go wrong with the faux fur leopard coat, which will see you through many a winter in style (if you look after it).
5. Black slip dress, £149.99
Alexa Chung chose this flower-covered strappy dress for the launch event, so who are we to argue? Dress it up for party season with heels and a clutch or down by layering over a fine knit rollneck and adding black ankle boots.
6. Floral hoodie, £49.99
This hoodie isn’t the sort of thing we’d expect to see on his catwalk, but we love it because it’s the perfect distillation of Erdem Moralioglu’s aesthetic combined with a streetwear sensibility. There’s a men’s version too, which women could buy in size XS or S for an oversized look.
7. Long sleeved dress, £79.99
Bringing summery florals into your winter wardrobe isn’t always easy, but this dress does just that. We can imagine it with black tights, buckled Western boots and a big fluffy coat on top.
8. Mini skirt, £49.99
One look at this tweed skirt and you can’t help but think of Chanel, which is never a bad thing. There’s even a matching boxy jacket to go with, but we think you’ll get the most wear out of the skirt on its own, pairing it with snuggly knits and suede boots.
