Gal Gadot's make-up artist reveals secrets behind Wonder Woman look17th Jun 17 | Fashion
Gal Gadot's make-up artist didn't need to do much in the way of applying cosmetics to the actress' incredible physique while shooting Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot's make-up became "part of her skin" when she was shooting Wonder Woman.
The 32-year-old Israeli actress has won herself legions of fans worldwide with her incredible portrayal of the superhero in the latest movie.
While her warrior-esque outfit has already sparked several copies, it's not the only part of Gal's look people want to emulate. Sarah Brock is the woman responsible for the star's barely there make-up, and opened up to People about just how she achieved the effect.
"I used small amounts of several different products, which I applied with my fingers and then blended well so that they didn't 'sit' on the skin - they 'became' part of her skin," Sarah explained. "I apply cream bronzers and blush after foundation and then I'd add fine powder formulas at the end of the make-up if I wanted more definition for filming."
Among the products Sarah liked using on Gal the most was Smashbox L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color in Venice Beach Bronze and Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick.
And when it comes to recreating Gal's make-up at home, Sarah has some tips for those who want to try their hand at an au natural beauty look.
"The biggest mistake women make is that they think that the way to get a flawless complexion is to pile on a thick layer of thick foundation to cover all of their imperfections - but that's when make-up looks heavy and cakey," she warned. "I apply a light foundation base and then go in with concealers and correctors after to add more coverage where needed."
Sarah also advises using cream make-up formulas to keep a glowy finish.
"I try to use as many cream-based products as possible on the skin, which keeps the skin looking dewy and younger," she continued. "And use as little powder as possible, as it tends to make the skin look flat and takes away the natural glow."
