Milo Ventimiglia has partnered with See America on a new campaign aimed at fighting preventable blindness in America.
The This Is Us star is backing a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB).
Campaign See America has been set up by global pharmaceutical company Allergan.
The 40-year-old actor features in a two-minute video promoting the cause, where he tries to put across the serious message but the director keeps shouting cut at every opportunity and urges him to "project like an actor" and "shout".
The light-hearted video takes a more serious tone towards the end when Milo explains that around 80 million Americans have a curable eye disease that can make them blind if they don't seek treatment.
As part of the campaign, Milo tweeted a photo of one of his eyes and asked fans to join him by posting their own photo with the hashtag #EyePic.
He also asked his followers to tag friends to spread the word.
"Great to film for a good cause," he wrote beside the video. "Watch @JoinSeeAmerica & I and post your #EyePic to help make a change!"
See America will donate $10 (£7.50) to the AFB every time someone posts with the hashtag #EyePic.
