Lois & Clark co-stars Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain reunite at comic festival19th Jun 17 | Entertainment News
Teri Hatcher reunited with her Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman co-star Dean Cain at the Supanova Comic Con & Gaming Festival on Saturday (17Jun17).
Both Teri, now 52, and Dean, 50, enjoyed a stellar rise to fame after starring in the much loved TV series as Lois Lane and Clark Kent/Superman respectively from 1993 to 1997.
And fans of the show were left delighted when the duo came together once again at the event in Sydney, Australia.
Ahead of flying Down Under, Teri shared a snap of herself on the airplane, writing on Twitter: "I'm on my way! So excited 2 meet fans @SupanovaExpo #Sydney @RealDeanCain I've got an overdue hug 4 you! C U (see you) soon!"
Dean then replied, "Deal! Fly safely!" to which Teri responded, "I'm gonna sleep the whole way. Saving my energy for a fan filled #LoisandClark reunion. #grateful."
The actress appeared in good spirits as she took to the stage with Dean at the event on Saturday for a Q&A with fans.
The pair's reunion came after it had been speculated they could be having an on-screen reunion in U.S. TV series Supergirl.
Teri is starring in the programme as the villainous Rhea, who is secretly attempting to get revenge on Supergirl for stealing her son Mon-El.
Dean, meanwhile, appears in the series as Supergirl/Kara's surrogate father Jeremiah Danvers, leading fans to speculate they could soon be seeing the duo reunite on the small screen.
However, scheduling issues meant producers were unable to make a reunion work, with producer Andrew Kreisberg telling TVLine: "Storywise, it became difficult to make that happen, much to my, Dean and Teri's dismay. There's an episode in which they both appeared, and even though they weren't in any scenes together, just to see their names together in the credits blew my mind."
