The actress is famous for her dramatic roles in films like Inception, La Vie en Rose and last year's (16) Allied, and now she wants to shine as the new Sandra Bullock in an American comedy.

"I'm not used to comedy, I'd love to do more," the 41-year-old actress said recently in an interview obtained by Deadline. "I have a lot of work to find the right rhythm, comedy is really hard.

"I would pay (to star in an American comedy), I would pay."

Marion is currently receiving critical praise for her latest role in Ismael's Ghosts, which was a hit at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

In filmmaker Arnaud Desplechin's new movie, Cotillard teams up with Mathieu Amalric and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

The French movie opened last month's (May17) Cannes Film Festival.

Marion became a mum again in March (17), after giving birth to a daughter.

The child is her second with longtime partner Guillaume Canet. The couple, who met while working on the 2003 film Love Me If You Dare, also shares a five-year-old son named Marcel.

The 41-year-old actress announced she was expecting in September (16) via an Instagram post, in which she praised her partner of 10 years.

"Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting," she wrote. "He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need."
