R&B star Ne-Yo has crowned Jennifer Lopez a champion eater because she can regularly devour half a pizza all by herself.

J.Lo is known for her stunning physique, but the So Sick singer reveals the mother of two has a big appetite and loves to snack in between meals - as he witnessed on a number of occasions while working with her on their new reality competition show, World of Dance.

The On The Floor hitmaker has been bonding with her fellow judges, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough, and show host Jenna Dewan Tatum with pizza parties held at her mansion in Bel-Air, California, and just getting a peek at her luxury estate blew her new friends away.

"We hung out a couple times at J.Lo's home," Ne-Yo told People.com. "She lives on a literal compound. That's where I realised just how much J.Lo can eat. (She can finish) a whole half a pizza by herself!"

However, Ne-Yo is well aware how hard the superstar works in the gym to burn the extra calories.

"You'd never know (how much she can eat) by looking at her," he added. "She works out like a beast."

The four stars are currently gearing up for the launch of the new U.S. TV series, in which amateur dancers from all over the globe will get the opportunity to compete for a grand prize of $1 million (773,000), and Ne-Yo reveals he was surprised to learn he was considered the toughest of the three judges to impress.

"I was dubbed the hard judge," he shared. "I don't feel like I was tough. I felt like I was firm and fair. It's a million dollars. You don't just give away a million dollars. You have to earn a million dollars."

According to Ne-Yo, Lopez comes across as the "cool mum... that lets you stay out late" on the show, while former Dancing with the Stars professional Derek is the "goofball", and Step Up star Jenna is the "sweetheart".

Fans will get to judge for themselves when World of Dance premieres in the U.S. on 30 May (17).
