Sheryl Crow calls for President Trump's removal from office19th May 17 | Entertainment News
Sheryl Crow has slammed American President Donald Trump for creating political "chaos".
The singer appeared on ITV network series Good Morning Britain on Thursday (18May17) and called for the controversial U.S. leader to be removed from office.
"It's my hope that sooner than later he's not in office anymore," Crow said on the show. "I mean the word impeachment definitely comes out of my mouth, but what we need is a functioning government, and it's been, for the last 144 days, nothing but chaos."
The 55-year-old, who has been politically outspoken throughout her career, revealed she's been so disturbed by Trump's policies, she's had trouble sleeping.
"It actually has kept me up at night," she revealed. "It's infiltrated our daily lives in a way that is, for me, not healthy ... I'm concerned about our democracy, what we count on as Americans. We don't know what the truth is."
The Grammy-winner also expressed concern for struggling Americans who voted for Trump and are awaiting his help.
"I feel sad for the people that voted for him, that still are hoping he's going to deliver for them," she lamented. "There are a lot of people who are hurting in America just like all over the world and they believed in him, and it's been my worry from the very beginning."
