Caprice broke into tears on Loose Women today as she spoke about her brain tumour just four weeks after her life saving operation

Caprice broke down in tears today during an appearance on Loose Women as she spoke about her brain tumour diagnosis.

The former supermodel was taking part in Channel 4’s The Jump when she began to feel unwell. After being told by producers that she had to see a doctor, she was left in total shock when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Caprice told the panel: “I started to break down and cry hysterically. And I just said ‘am I going to die?’ It was a really scary time for me.”

Despite the tumour being diagnosed as benign, she was advised to get it removed as soon as possible due to the risk of growth.

She also revealed that she initially only told her partner as she didn’t want to worry her mother and the rest of her family.

The 45 year old underwent a 7 and a half hour operation to remove the tumour and appeared on Loose Women to talk about her experience earlier today just 4 weeks after the surgery.

The operation was a success but she admitted it has changed her outlook on life: “When something like this happens, you change a lot. I’ve reassessed everything. I’ve always been a grafter because I know what it’s like to have to live on bagels and cream cheese, because I couldn’t afford anything and I’ve built up this life.”

“I’ve always been very ambitious and work work money… but now I’m thinking you know what, I don’t care. I’m not going to work this hard, I am going to enjoy my children. I’m going to enjoy my life. We take our health so much for granted. I’m so happy and I wake up and I thank my dad and I thank God.”
