Jordan will play fireman Montag, who abandons society's rules and battles his mentor Beatty (Shannon). The Creed star will also executive produce the project.
Fahrenheit 451 was first adapted into a film in 1966 directed by Francois Truffaut. It starred Julie Christie and Oskar Werner.
