The news of the 90-year-old's passing hit headlines as Brad prepared to hit the stage at the Runaway Country music festival in Kissimmee, Florida, and he decided to switch up his set list to include a special tribute.

The country star treated fans to a rendition of the 1958 hit, and even attempted Chuck's signature duck walk mid-way through the track.

A large photo of Berry was displayed on the big screens around the stage, alongside the note, "Chuck Berry, 1926-2017".

Brad has since shared a clip of his last-minute tribute on Twitter, simply captioning it, "Thanks Chuck."

Berry reportedly died from natural causes after police in his native Missouri found him unresponsive at his home.
