Ciara shares snap of her cradling baby bump after car crash20th Mar 17 | Entertainment News
Ciara has shared a sweet snap of herself cradling her baby bump a week after escaping a car crash unharmed.
The 31-year-old was driving along Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles last Friday (10Mar17) when another vehicle crashed into the passenger side of her car as she was making a left turn.
Ciara took to Twitter following the terrifying incident, and touchingly thanked her body for keeping her baby safe during the drama. "Thankful For Gods Grace, and Amniotic Fluid," she wrote.
A week after the terrifying crash, she has shared a sweet snap of herself cradling her baby bump while gazing into the camera in an effort to reassure fans she's okay.
The Goodies hitmaker is stood by her bed in the photo, uploaded on Saturday (18Mar17), and is wearing matching black Calvin Klein underwear.
A representative for Ciara confirmed the singer and her unborn baby were doing well after the crash, and told Entertainment Tonight, "The driver was illegally in the bus lane and hit the right side of her car".
An on-duty police officer from the West L.A. Traffic Division said the crash was "just property damage only".
Ciara's husband Russell Wilson reportedly rushed to the scene of the incident last week to comfort his wife, and later wrote an update on Twitter. "Momma Wilson & Baby Wilson are feeling great! God is good!" he posted, alongside praying hands and angel emojis.
The singer is due to give birth to her and Russell's first child in the spring. Ciara also shares a two-year-old son, Future Zahir, with her ex, rapper Future.
