Gloria and Emilio Estefan cheer on daughter Emily at concert10th Feb 17 | Entertainment News
Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan were front and centre as their daughter Emily Estefan performed in New York on Wednesday night (08Feb17).
Emily, 22, took to the stage at legendary nightclub The Cutting Room in front of a crowd of around 100 friends to perform some original tracks, a selection of 1920s tunes and some Stevie Wonder classics.
An audience member told the New York Post's gossip column Page Six that Emily "played the drums and guitar flawlessly", while also blowing people away with her soulful voice.
While her parents couldn't hide their pride, cheering on their daughter as she belted out her set, other celebrities seen in the audience included U.S. TV chef Rachael Ray.
Emily has been following in her mother's footsteps when it comes to her choice of career, attending Berklee College of Music and already causing a stir with her material.
She is currently U.S. radio DJ Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month, and released her debut album Take Whatever You Want on 3 February (17).
Speaking previously about the amount of support she has received from her friends and family, including her famous parents, Emily told Impose Magazine: "Family and friends are everything to me. I've always been one to have self doubts and my support system is always honest with me, honest with love, not with envy or malice. I would be nothing without them, and definitely not without my parents... being that they made me and all..."
