Latino stars react to plane crash tragedy

J Balvin and Maluma have paid tribute to the Brazilian soccer stars who lost their lives in a plane crash in Colombia on Tuesday morning (29Nov16).

More than 70 of the 81 passengers, including members of Brazil's Chapecoense soccer team, were killed in the tragedy.

The players were en route to a game in Medellin, Colombia when the plane crashed.

J Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam and Fonseca joined soccer fans around the world to express their grief on social media, with Maluma writing: "We are all in mourning. God has them in their glory, condolences for all the families of the victims. The sky has won a team of champions."

Balvin added: "DIOS LOS TENGA EN SU GLORIA!! (God have you in your glory)."

And Nicky Jam tweeted: "Fuerzas para los familiares. Solo Dios sabe porque (Strengths for family members. Only God knows why)."
