KISS adds new European and U.K. dates to stadium tour29th Nov 16 | Entertainment News
KISS have added a string of European and U.K. dates to their KISSWORLD 2017 Tour.
The American rockers, fronted by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, had already announced performances in Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria and Holland next May (17), kicking things off in Moscow.
Now the stars have added Denmark, Italy, Czech Republic and the U.K. to the list of locations, stopping at cities including Olso, Vienna and Glasgow before they wrap things up in London on 31 May (17).
The band's return to the U.K. follows on from their sold-out arena and festivals shows in 2015, which saw a headlining spot at Download Festival and a gig at London's O2 Arena.
Fans can get their hands on pre-sale tickets and VIP deals through KISS Army, the band's fan group, while the official sale begins on 2 December (16).
The musicians haven't released any new material since 2012's Monster, but during the summer, guitarist and vocalist Paul did hint they'd record a follow-up album. And they still love playing in front of packed out crowds, as bassist Gene explained the importance of their music earlier this year (16).
"At the end of the day, all that matters is what happens on that stage - that's electric church," he told Metal Hammer magazine. "And it's our job - anyone who gets up on that stage - to create magic time. To make you forget about all that stuff and take you away, so just for those few hours... and then you get back to gravity, and all the chaos that's out there."
