Perrie Edwards loves being an "agony aunt" to fans who have been dumped.

The Little Mix singer is no stranger to being dumped, after former fiance Zayn Malik ended their four-year relationship with a text message.

While he's now in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid, but Perrie got her own back with the girl group's recent chart smash Shout Out To My Ex.

And Perrie's post-split attitude has inspired so many other young women in similar situations that the 23-year-old frequently finds herself approached for advice when out and about.

"I'm like an agony aunt. I feel amazing, I can't get enough of it," she told Britain's Daily Star newspaper. "So many people approach me at nightclubs saying, 'You changed my life, I've never felt better'. Or, 'I got dumped two weeks ago and your song makes me feel great'.

"Guys too have told me they put the song on repeat to help them."

Perrie isn't the only member of Little Mix to be sought out for her relationship advice. Jesy Nelson, who is reported to have recently split from her fiance Jake Roche, stated that the group's recent album Glory Days is a fantastic record for helping people get over romance breakdowns.

"Glory Days is a love and heartbreak album. Now women, older women too, randomly come up to tell me their problems. It makes you feel good," Jesy added.

The record has hit headlines in recent months due to the girls referencing former relationships in their songs. But Perrie insists they are just talking about situations every young woman has been in.

'I suppose that's what makes us so relatable. Songs like FU - everyone's had an FU moment. Everybody's had a Nothing Else Matters moment too," she said.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: "That's why everyone has taken to the album. We say what we want, even if it gets us into trouble!"
