Singer Gary Barlow made history at the Variety Showbiz Awards in London on Tuesday night (18Oct16) when he was handed the first ever Hall of Fame Platinum Music Award.
The Take That star was among guests at the inaugural Hall of Fame event at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, which featured performances from James Blunt, Holly Johnson, and Jamie Cullum.
It was also a big night for theatre icon Elaine Paige and British comedian Jimmy Tarbuck, who were both honoured for their career successes.
After receiving her Lifetime Achievement Award, singer Paige took to Twitter and gushed, "Thank you @VarietyGB I'm honoured & humbled by this Lifetime Achievement Award #VarietyHallOfFame".
Executives at BBC Radio 2 were handed the first Hall of Fame Fellowship for "six decades of outstanding broadcasting".
Meanwhile, a top talking point of the evening came during the red carpet arrivals when pregnant former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh showed off her growing baby bump.
The 34-year-old outshone many of the other arrivals as she glowed in a black gown.
The singer first revealed she is pregnant with her second child in June (16).
Other stars in attendance included Dame Barbara Windsor, singers Michael Ball and Elkie Brooks, and actor Craig Charles.
