Liam Payne addresses the rumours the boys are set to split after their new album

One Direction have denied rumours they are set to take a break from music after the release of their new album.

Rumours have been circulating that Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne were set step back from the limelight following the recent departure of bandmate Zayn Malik.

Louis, 23, was reportedly offered a spot on this year's 'The X Factor' judging panel next to their record label boss Simon Cowell and Harry, 21, is thought to be considering a solo career.

But speaking to OK! Online, Liam Payne said the band had no plans to stop.

"We don't know where it's come from we've got loads of stuff going on.

"We've literally started the process of recording the new album there's a whole new tour going on and there's some really great songs.

"I don't think we'll be going anywhere for a while."

The 1D boys are currently at the Summertime Ball in London, and Louis Tomlinson also took time out to address the rumours he is set to join The X Factor judging panel later this year.

He said: "I've got a tour to do so unfortunately not, maybe next year."
