Tried and tested: SPF

Summer is fast approaching in many parts of the world so make sure your skin is protected!

Tried and tested: SPF

Last week (08-14May17) marked Sun Awareness Week, so what better time to get the low down on the top SPFs out there. Whether it's sunny or raining, skin should always have a layer of SPF on, to protect from UVA and UVB rays which both speed up ageing, We look at some of the best around.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light Fluid SPF 50+ - 4.5/5

While it's important to always wear an SPF on your face, some can be quite gloopy and not ideal for those of us in a rush. But not this ultra light beauty from La Roche-Posay. It applies evenly and quickly, sinking into the skin in a matter of minutes so you can continue your morning beauty routine. Wearing SPF will ensure skin stays looking younger for longer by blocking out ageing sun rays, and I honestly wouldn't be without this hero product.

Simple Kind To Skin+ Protecting Moisture Cream SPF 30 - 4/5

I use this as a daily moisturiser as my skin is sensitive and catches the sun really easily, so with SPF 30 I feel safe knowing I won't have a red nose and forehead after a day out in the rays! It rubs in easily and the tube lasts for ages as only a little is needed to apply all over my face and neck, plus it's scent-free so you don't have any unnecessary smells left lingering. One other perk; it nourishes any dry patches immediately, meaning I don't need to fork out on any other products to tackle the problem.

Organii Sun Milk SPF 50 - 4/5

With a mild formula and certified organic ingredients, this sunscreen is a good option for people with sensitive skin, or those prone to sunburn. Organii Sun Milk SPF50 contains argan, jojoba and linseed, and has a very light fragrance. The formula also has a liquid consistency and absorbs very quickly, without leaving a white film on the skin. Good for use on children too!
