Do you agree that the current craze should be banned from schools?
JoJo Bows are the latest tween trend sweeping across primary schools in Ireland and the UK - but why all the fuss over brightly-coloured big bows?
They have become a must-have fashion accessory thanks to JoJo Siwa, a 13-year-old YouTube star and dancer in the US reality show Dance Moms.
The bows, that are sold in Claire's Accessories, come in a variety of colours, shapes and designs and are usually worn to decorate a high ponytail.
They have caused some controversy though.
It has been reported that some schools in the UK have already banned the must-have tween fashion accessory because they say they're not part of the school uniform.
After JoJo Bows were banned from a Manchester primary school, the Principal explained:
"We're very strong on having a school uniform and there are reasons for that. It gives a signal to the children that they are part of the school family.
It also gives a signal that we're here to work. As soon as they are not in the same uniform it causes a problem and they get distracted.
We have a massive curriculum now in primary schools and there simply is no time for added distractions like this."
