Busy Philipps thought she was going to be killed when she took an Uber without realising there was a man who "didn't make himself known" in the back of the vehicle.
The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories to share her bizarre tale, explaining that she and husband Marc Silverstein were trying to get a ride home from a night out when the incident occurred.
"The craziest thing just happened to me," Busy said. "I said to my husband, 'Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he's not going to kill us?' And then from the f**king way back, a voice is like, 'I promise that won't happen' and there was just like a f**king crazy, scary dude in way back of this Uber."
Revealing there was a man in the back of the car who "didn't make himself known", Busy then began getting more and more scared as the situation unfolded.
"Basically I was like, 'I will not be killed tonight!' and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I was like, 'This is not happening. I will not be killed tonight'," she continued.
The former Dawson's Creek actress, who has two young daughters eight-year-old Birdie and three-year-old Cricket, with Marc, concluded her cautionary tale by insisting she wasn't exaggerating when recalling the details of the incident.
"I'm not trying to be alarmist or whatever, but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight," she said. "I legitimately feel that way and it was really scary."
