You must read the terms & conditions in order to proceed.
The Apprentice (Series 4) (the “Programme”)
- This is an application for the television programme entitled “The Apprentice (Series 4)” which Screentime ShinAwiL Limited (the “Company” or “we”) proposes but does not undertake to produce for the TV3. The information given by you in this application form (and any other form supplied to the Company) may be used in the Programme should you be selected.
- Applicants will be selected at the sole discretion of the Company, whose decision will be final. If you are selected you will be asked to sign a longform Application Agreement a draft of which will be forwarded to you in good time prior to a formal meeting where you will be asked to sign the agreement. If you decline to sign the agreement the Company shall be entitled to withdraw the offer to you to participate in Series 4.
- You agree to attend any interviews, auditioning processes, competitions, events and promotional activities relating to the Programme if required by the Company and on any dates as notified to you by the Company.
- You agree to abide by the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the Programme (the “Rules") which are available on request and which may be varied from time to time by the Company and you further agree that the Company’s decision is final and binding.
- You agree to undertake a psychological assessment, conducted by a certified practitioner, if required by the Company.
- You hereby warrant that you have truthfully and accurately completed this application form and acknowledge and agree that the Company may in its sole discretion disqualify you from any interview, auditioning process, competition, event or the Programme at any stage if you supply or have supplied any untruthful, inaccurate or misleading details and/or information and/or have failed to abide by the Rules or are otherwise in breach of any of the terms of this application.
- You warrant and agree that you shall not be entitled to undertake any press, publicity or other discussions with any third party in connection with your application as a candidate on the Programme or any other aspect of the Programme nor shall you be entitled to enter into any commercial agreement or other agreement with any third party in connection with your application as a candidate or your appearance as a candidate in the Programme.
- In consideration of the sum of €1 (one euro) (the receipt of which you acknowledge) you hereby with full title guarantee irrevocably assign to the Company by way of an assignment of present and future copyright, the entire copyright and all other rights, title and interest of whatsoever nature, whether vested or contingent, in and to all of your contributions to and performances for and all of the products of your services in respect of this application form, the Programme and all allied and ancillary rights in the Programme to hold the same unto the Company absolutely, throughout the universe in all languages and all media now known or to be invented for the full period of copyright (and all renewals, revivals, reversions and extensions thereof) and thereafter in perpetuity to the extent permitted by law. This assignment shall be without reservation or condition and so that no rights of any kind, nature or description are reserved by you. You irrevocably and unconditionally waive in perpetuity all moral rights that you may have in and to all of your contributions to and performances for and all the products of your services in respect of this agreement and the Programme whether arising under Part II, Chapter 7 and Part IV of the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 as amended (the “Act") (or any provision of law known as “droit moral” or any similar law in any country of the world) or otherwise. The rights granted to the Company hereunder include all rights of communication to the public by satellite, cable retransmission rights and all rental and lending rights, whether now known or hereafter existing, in any country of the world in and to your contributions to and performances in and the products of your services in respect of this application and the Programme. Further, the consideration payable under this agreement includes equitable remuneration in respect of the rental and lending rights and the rights of communication to the public by cable and satellite and any other rights entitling you to such remuneration. For the purposes of the copyright law of the United States of America and any other jurisdiction which does not recognise an assignment of future copyright, if there is resort or subjection to such jurisdiction in relation to this Agreement and/or the Programme, the products of your services are deemed to be a "work made for hire" carried out by you for the Company and the Company shall be deemed the author thereof.
- We welcome applications from disabled people and will endeavour to meet any access needs for such disabled applicants.
- You warrant that you are aged 18 years or over and are an EU citizen or are legally entitled to work in Ireland. If required by the Company, you agree to provide the Company with documentary evidence to substantiate your age and your status and your entitlement to work in Ireland. You also warrant that you have not in the last ten years been the subject of a conviction for a criminal offence (other than a road traffic offence where the conviction did not result in a custodial sentence and was not in respect of the death or serious injury of another person).
