Jackie Carton is a 45-year-old designer from Dublin (http://www.stylemyroom.ie) who’s work has featured in plenty of print media. She has never done a showhouse per-se, but has completed Full house fit outs on budgets of €40,000 - €50,000.
Jackie is mostly drawn to modern and contemporary styles but also likes Fusion or transitional styling. She loves the timeless quality of mid-century modern furniture but isn’t a fan of ‘shabby chic’ or faux distressed furniture, over-use of bling and or blandness (magnolia walls and brown furniture!). She sees the challenge as ‘trying to retain a unique and visually stimulating look within the Showhouse without alienating the viewers’.
