Jason Byrne's Snaptastic Show

Comedian Jason Byrne is set to bring his original brand of high-energy, intelligent lunacy to TV3 with his brand new six-part series, Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show.

In tomorrow night’s debut episode, John Bishop shares pictures from his childhood and reminisces about growing up in a council town called Winsford, before transferring to a council estate in Liverpool. John shares family snaps with his sisters at a camper park in Wales and a particularly entertaining snap of him in a nappy and knitted lederhosen!

Simon Delaney discusses family holidays in Wexford, Irish confirmations and growing up just off Tonlegee road in Raheny, Dublin’s North Side. He even recalls how one night his father came home after a few scoops and drove into the driveway taking the pillar and gate with him!

Deirdre O’ Kane meanwhile, remembers her time growing up in Drogheda with her siblings, before heading off to go to boarding school in Dublin, where she shared a room with her best friend, also called Deirdre. Deirdre’s love of white dresses is apparent right through from toddler to teen where she donned a white frock for her Debs.

With side-splitting comedy from Jason Byrne and contributing segments from ‘Foil, Arms and Hog’ as well as gas stand-up and audience participation, Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show promises to have you in convulsions.

During the run of this brand new six-part series, other high profile guests such as Pat Shortt, Johnny Vegas, Ray Darcy, Kevin Kilbane, George Hook, Sarah Millican and Des Bishop appear as you’ve never seen them before, taking you along on their embarrassing trips down memory lane.

Other big names appearing on Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show are Fred Cooke, PJ Gallagher, Ken Doherty, Eleanor Tiernan, Russell Kane, Pamela Flood, Mark Watson, Dermot Whelan, Dave Moore and Phill Jupitas.

Jason Byrne’s hugely successful tour 'You Name The Show' continues around the country. In a totally original stand up concept, Jason is not only letting the audience name the show but getting them to choose the topics discussed as they are invited to spin the wheel of random nonsense.

Tune into TV3 every Thursday at 9pm for some side-spitting antics from Jason and guests as they share their most cherished memories through an assortment of snaps.

‘Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show’ starts tomorrow (Thursday 12th February) at 9pm on TV3.
