The Duchess of Cambridge is killing it in the maternity fashion game again

Today the Duchess of Cambridge is visiting Robin Hood Primary School to celebrate ten years of the Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for School Gardening. Sure, this is an opportunity to shine a light on gardening, but we’re also going to use it to celebrate Kate’s maternity style.

For her previous pregnancies she absolutely killed the maternity fashion game, and this time round is no different.

We know Kate loves a good coat and today she attended the event in a classic dark green waxed Barbour jacket. It’s a much more casual look than we’re used to for Kate but it’s definitely functional to do a spot of gardening in.

Here’s a look at some of our favourite looks she’s been working for baby number three.

Cute day dresses

World Mental Health Day(Heathcliff O’Malley/PA)

Kate made her first public appearance after announcing her pregnancy for the World Mental Healthy Day event at Buckingham Palace, and she did it in style. She wore a blue, long-sleeved lace dress with a regal twist by one of her favourite designers, Temperley London, and the colour really popped.

And that’s not the only cute day dress. Opting for another pastel shade for a charity event meeting the cast and crew of new movie Paddington 2, Kate wore a gorgeous pale pink Orla Kirely number that came to her knees.

Royal visit to Foundling Museum(Mary Turner/PA)

However, this isn’t to say that Kate has kept her pregnancy style safe and limited it to block colours – we particularly love the spotty Kate Spade dress she wore when visiting the Foundling Museum on Tuesday.

Flattering coats

Royal visit to the West Midlands(Chris Jackson/PA)

If it’s one thing Kate knows how to nail, it’s coats – and she’s not going to let anything like pregnancy get in the way of this.

The coat dress she wore when visiting the West Midlands last month was perfect for the weather whilst giving her small bump some space to breathe.

Not only do we love her cream coat, which is by designer Goat, but we can’t stop staring at those boots either.

Military details

Remembrance Sunday 2017(Dominic Lipinski/PA)

It’s worth mentioning that Kate isn’t yet very far along in her pregnancy, so it’s not like she has to grapple with a particularly big bump just yet.

However, one thing we have noticed in her recent style is an increased love of military detailing – think big brass buttons and tailored coats and blazers.

Royal Festival of Remembrance(Stefan Rousseau/PA)

We wouldn’t be surprised to see more of this kind of fashion from Kate as her bump grows.

Glam evening dresses

Royal Variety Performance 2017(Eddie Mulholland/PA)

Kate’s pregnant for the third time, which you would understandably think warrants sitting on the sofa while William brings her cups of tea. However, she’s still a royal with a whole lot of official duties to carry out – including attending some pretty fancy parties and galas.

One of our favourite looks was the ice blue Jenny Packham gown she wore for the Royal Variety Performance, which caused many people to liken her to Elsa from Frozen.

Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families gala dinner(Frank Augstein/PA)

She switched sparkles for black lace when attending the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families gala dinner, in a Diane von Furstenberg dress we saw her in before when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
