Death is a natural part of life but explaining it to young children or teenagers can be challenging.

Clinical psychologist and CEO of St.Patrick's Mental Health Services, Paul Gilligan talks about how to help your children to deal with their grief.

His top tips are: 

1. Be available to them

2. Give appropriate information

3. Allow them express their emotions

4. Support them

5. Look after your own emotions

6. Don't be afraid to seek professional help
