Epidermolysis bullosa otherwise known as "butterfly skin" is an incredibly painful genetic condition that causes the skin layers and internal body linings to blister and wound at the slightest touch.
This week is National EB Awareness Week which hopes to raise both funds and knowledge around the condition so that support can be given to the families of patients fighting this devastating disease.
Five-year-old Casey Conners is just one of only three hundred people in Ireland with EB and she joined us this morning alongside her mum Rachel and Debra Ireland Chief Executive Jimmy Fearon to tell us more.
