Diabetes Ireland

Dr Tony O'Sullivan & Michelle Moloney both have Diabetes and are preparing to head to Kilimanjaro to raise money for Diabetes Ireland with a group of other people affected by Diabetes. They are looking to show people, especially children and teens with Type 1 diabetes, that their condition should not be a barrier to achieving any dreams or challenges they may face going forward in life.

Dr Tony is the medical lead for the trek and is also the former chairperson of Diabetes Ireland.

Michelle was diagnosed in her twenties and talks about the impact diabetes has had on her life and her drive not to let it stop her achieving her goals.
