Checking your Blood Pressure

When did you last get your blood pressure checked? High Blood pressure is estimated to affect almost one million people in Ireland and is the biggest risk factor for stroke.

This morning we were joined by Marese Damery, Irish Heart Health Check Manager to tell us about keeping our blood pressure under control and how we can avail of a free check-up.  For more information on blood pressure see Irish Heart's 'Manage your Blood Pressure' booklet.  Visit www.irishheart.ie Freephone Helpline on 1800 25 25 50.
