Presented by Michael Hayes and Andrea Hayes, Ireland's Animal A&E documents the daily routine of the clinics as TV3 cameras go behind the scenes with the vets on call and follow the challenges of their everyday lives.

Andrea Hayes


Andrea has been working for TV3 as a daytime continuity announcer since 2005. From January 2008, viewers were able to 'put a face to the voice', as the station's daytime continuity links went 'in-vision'.

Andrea studied Film and Television at the Dublin Institute of Technology and has a diploma in speech and drama from London College. Andrea's career began in 1999 with Windmill Lane, where she worked as a post-production producer and studio manager. She made her presenting debut fronting a documentary about the music festival 'The Electric Picnic', interviewing music celebrities such as the Beastie Boys, Rufus Wainwright and Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys. In addition to her work with TV3, Andrea keeps busy with voice-over and radio work, and currently presents ‘The Weekend Show' on Saturday afternoon on Dublin's Country Mix 106.8, she is also presenting an afternoon show this year with Christmas FM.

Andrea is very excited about working on Ireland's Animal A&E and looks forward to getting out on the road with the ISPCA. She is a true lover of animals and enjoys bringing her lively Labrador Retriever Dash for long walks in the Dublin Mountains.
