Katie’s life is thrown into turmoil in tomorrow night’s (Wednesday 27th May) episode of Red Rock, following her unexpected announcement in last week’s episode. David tries to change Katie’s mind about going through with the pregnancy, reminding her of their rose-tinted image of a family when they were together but Katie has made up her mind and has decided she won’t be keeping the baby.
Katie moves back home with her family and emotions run high as she battles with her hormones. It’s not long before a mother’s intuition strikes Bridget and it dawns on her that Katie is pregnant. Bridget offers her support until Katie drops the bombshell announcing her plans to have an abortion. As Bridget tries to convince her to keep the baby, she blabs to Vincent and Keith. Vincent sees this as a blessing; Darren looking down on the family. As the excitement builds, Katie silences them by confessing her decision. There won’t be a baby, she’s having an abortion.
Meanwhile, Ollie Coyne is back and causing trouble for Paudge and Sharon. As Claire Hennessy is called in to defend him, Ollie is released after Paudge’s inaccuracies. As Ollie taunts Paudge outside the station, Paudge has a few choice words of his own which leave Ollie humiliated in front of his peers. Will Paudge regret his words?
