TV3 is calling out for contestants for the highly anticipated third series of The Great Irish Bake Off. Presented by former Big Brother star and much loved presenter Anna Nolan, the popular baking show, which saw amateur baker Tracy Coyne winning the competition in 2014 and Stephen Chisholm winning the first series in 2013, is once again calling for a new batch of passionate bakers to battle it out for the coveted title of ‘Ireland’s Best Amateur Baker’.
With casting auditions due to get underway in March, TV3 is looking for people to dust down their aprons and take part in the brand new series, which will begin filming in May. Applications are now open and will close at MIDNIGHT on Sunday 8th February 2015.
The BBC worldwide format, produced by Sideline for TV3, has been a resounding success, averaging 202,400 viewers each week over the two series. The Great Irish Bake Off has pulled in an average share of 13.78% individual viewers and an average reach of 405,200 individuals since the launch of the first series, as the amateur bakers made their way through a feast of challenges.
The third series of the mouth-watering baking contest will once again be judged by renowned Cookery Writer and Forager, Biddy White Lennon and award-winning Executive Pastry Chef from The Merrion Hotel, Paul Kelly.
If you think you have what it takes to become the next big thing in baking, this is your chance. All you have to do is complete the short application process which only takes a few minutes. Simply download an application form at www.tv3.ie/takepart, then return form with photos to: bakeoff@sideline.ie , or post to: The Great Irish Bake Off, Sideline Productions, 9 Appian Way, Ranelagh, Dublin 6. On the form you will be asked to attach ‘a photo of yourself as well as at least two pictures of your bakes.’
