TV3 GROUP RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday 14th October, 2014
A proposal and a divorce in this week’s ‘Downton Abbey’.
Lady Mary breaks off from her understanding with Lord Gillingham.
Shrimpie visits the house to inform his daughter, Lady Rose, that he is divorcing his wife.
Downton Abbey Episode 4 airs Wednesday 15th October at 9pm on TV3.
The multi-award winning period drama Downton Abbey continues on Wednesday night on TV3 and, this week, Sarah Bunting manages to make Robert so angry that he tells her never to come back to their house and storms out.
Meanwhile, Mary tells Tony that he's not the one for her. But Tony isn't done fighting for modern Lady Mary's hand. He thinks that, because they slept together, they have to work through it together.
Lady Edith receives news from Germany: a leader of a gang of thugs is going on trial and Gregson's people are hopeful this will provide them with answers in relation to what happened to him. She tearfully confesses to her father that she almost doesn't want to know the truth because, as long as she doesn't know for sure, Michael is still alive for her.
In the meantime, Rose's parents - Shrimpie and Susan - are divorcing, while Isobel Crawley fields a proposal from Lord Merton.
Downstairs, Barrow is back at Downton, but he is not looking good. The fact that he’s hiding in his room raises some suspicions.
After delivering a letter to Lord Gillingham, maid Anna is followed by a policeman who made the connection of the location with Green’s murder case. Could Anna now be looked at for the valet’s death?
Downton Abbey Episode 4 airs this Wednesday 15th October at 9pm on TV3.
Oxendales, Ireland’s leading home shopping fashion brand, sponsors the new series of Downton Abbey on TV3.
