THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with VINCENT BROWNE returns on Wednesday 2nd April.

The second motion for debate will be ‘The liberation of women in Ireland has yet to be accomplished’.

Filmed in The TV3 Sony HD Studio, the programme on Wednesday 2nd April will be an all-female audience.

THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with VINCENT BROWNE returns on Wednesday 2nd April with a brand new motion for debate. This time the topic of discussion is ‘The liberation of women in Ireland has yet to be accomplished’. Ordinary people are encouraged to apply, but only if they’re female as the programme will be an all-female audience.

This is democracy television. THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with VINCENT BROWNE is a monthly, two-hour-long debate style show broadcast in front of a live TV3 Sony HD Studio audience. With a diverse range of hard-hitting, intelligent and probing topics, THE PEOPLE’S DEBATEwith VINCENT BROWNE has no boundaries as it deals with serious, topical matters in Ireland from current affairs and political discussion to economics and the affairs of the nation.

Hundreds of thousands of people tuned into the first airing of THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with Vincent Browne on TV3 on Wednesday 5th March. The two-hour prime time debate show touted as “Democracy TV” proved a big hit, reaching a total of 579,500 people and averaging 185,300 viewers with a massive 17.42% share. The peak quarter hour (22:15 – 22:29) averaged 228,630 viewers (Individuals).

THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with VINCENT BROWNE was popular with a number of audiences but in particular with Adults ABC1 and Housekeepers, delivering a 15% share and 20.1% share respectively.
