TV3 interrupts its programming tonight to air a two-hour Live special on Ireland’s storms.

 

TV3 will interrupt its scheduling tonight to provide live coverage from across the country during one of the worst storms in living memory.

 

TV3 will have all the latest information on transport, power outages and what kind of weather lies in store.

 

‘Ireland’s Storms Live’ airs from 8pm – 10pm tonight on TV3.

 

Presented in studio by Colette Fitzpatrick and Brian Daly, TV3 will tonight air a Live two-hour special looking the damage and chaos this extreme weather is causing, as hurricane force winds continue to batter the country.

 

In addition to Live studio discussion from a panel of weather experts, including Minister Brian Hayes TD, Ireland’s Storms Live will feature dramatic Live coverage from across country exploring how towns, cities and coastlines are being hit by severe winds, torrential rain and high tides. Using material gathered by TV3 News teams and citizens through social media, it will show the devastation caused to homes and businesses nationwide.

 

As Met Eireann extends a status red severe wind weather, to Leinster, Connacht and Munster, Ireland’s Storms Live will look at the damage caused to hundreds of thousands of Irish homes and severe disruption to roads and public transport. With several areas of the country experiencing the worst storm conditions in living memory, the TV3 live special will give a nationwide account of the damage and keep viewers up-to-date with all the latest information on transport, power outages and what kind of weather lies in store.
