 TV3 launches THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE, with VINCENT BROWNE

 

Landmark TV series launches on March 5th at 10pm.

 

THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE is a 2 hour prime time live debate on the first Wednesday of every month hosted by Vincent Browne.

 

Filmed in The TV3 Sony HD Studio, the monthly programme will be broadcast in front of a studio audience of 150-200 people, where audience members are the participants.

 

Following the very successful BRAIN HACKER series with Keith Barry which was recorded in The TV3 Sony HD Studio, THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE is the Studio’s first major live show.

TV3 is delighted to announce its brand new, live topical discussion programme, THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE with Vincent Browne, which will be presented by one of Ireland’s most respected journalists and one of TV3’s most prominent broadcasters, Vincent Browne. The heated debate show will give the people of Ireland a platform to talk on important issues and voice their opinions in the media.

 

Airing on the first Wednesday of every month from Wednesday 5th March at 10pm, the two-hour-long debate style show will be broadcast in front of a studio audience where audience members will be able to participate on the chosen subjects.  Filmed in the state-of-the-art TV3 Sony HD studio, this will be TV3’s largest studio audience show to date with 150-200 audience members taking part.

 

With a diverse range of hard hitting, intelligent and probing topics, THE PEOPLE’S DEBATEwith Vincent Browne has no boundaries as it deals with serious current affairs issues in Ireland from topical matters, political discussion, economics and the affairs of the nation. On Wednesday 5th March the motion for debate will be: “The Fine Gael-Labour Government deserves the support of the Irish people”.

 

If you would like to voice your opinions and participate in a heated studio discussion, TV3 is now looking for audience members to take part in THE PEOPLE’S DEBATEwith Vincent Browne. Speaking about THE PEOPLE’S DEBATE, Vincent Browne, said: “We will begin a new experiment in Irish television: This will be TV3’s largest audience show to date with 150-200 people debating the important national issues of the day. There will be no panel of the usual important suspects – if the usual important suspects want to participate they will do so on the same basis as everyone else. This is democracy television.”
