TV3's brand new murder mystery series Broadchurch continues tomorrow night (Wednesday 15th January) at 9pm. As the quiet seaside town of Broadchurch deals with the shock of Daniels murder, an investigation gets underway. Detective Inspector Alec Hardy (David Tennant), and Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman), continue to work together to solve the crime. As they begin to identify suspects, will it become clear why Ellie’s son Tom began deleting text messages and files on his computer at the end of last week’s episode?

Tom is not the only person hiding a secret; the police find £500 in Danny’s room which leaves Alec and Ellie wondering what kind of life the young boy was leading.

Distraught mother of poor strangled Danny, Beth Latimer (Jodie Whittaker), tries to carry on with her life but a chance meeting with the town Reverend at the local supermarket results in her disclosing a very private dilemma.

Meanwhile Det Inspector Alec is suppressing painful memories by secretly taking pills to calm his nerves. An unidentified picture of a young girl in the Inspectors wallet suggests that he is harbouring guilt and regret.

As the investigation continues, pushy newspaper reporter Karen White (Vicky McClure) arrives in Broadchurch to cover the murder story and it is immediately clear that she will do anything to get her big break.

Broadchurch Episode 2 airs Wednesday 15th January, at 9pm on TV3.
