‘Keith Barry: Brain Hacker’ airs Sunday 12th January at 9pm on TV3.

It’s TV3’s biggest home produced show to date and to celebrate the impending airing of Keith Barry: Brain Hacker, the station has created special interruptive idents to promote the show on air. In the 15 second clips, Keith disrupts our TV screens, cutting over a peaceful snow setting with the line “I’d never lie to you. Honestly” in one and “Can you keep a secret? Not from me.” in another.

Filmed at home in TV3’s state of the art Sony HD studio, the largest of its kind in Ireland, Brain Hacker catered for a combined studio audience of over 700 people across its six filmed episodes.

The impressive set, built on 5000 square feet, features four distinct areas which all feature in the hour long show and have their own special purpose; The Lounge (Where Keith meets his special guests), The Lab (where Keith performs under test conditions), The Stage (A salute to magic and mentalism shows from the past) and The Bar (where Keith meets members of the audience).

Keith will also be joined in the New Year by some world famous names in magic, including the amazing mystifier Uri Geller, America’s leading Mentalist Max Maven and the legendary grandfather of mentalism Mr. David Berglas.

Jeff Ford, TV3 Group Director of Content, said: “With our new specially created Christmas idents, Keith will be tapping into viewers thoughts long before he hits our screens on 12th January!”

Speaking about his new show Brain Hacker which will air on TV3 on Sunday 12th January, Keith Barry said: “This is my first Irish TV show since 2006 and I'm delighted TV3 took the leap of faith in commissioning it.  The show is ground breaking for mentalism and I'm delighted with how we pushed the boundaries of possibilities as well as having some of my personal heroes from the world of mentalism in the studio. I really hope people enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.”

Keith Barry: Brain Hacker is TV3’s largest home-produced show to date and is expected to be an international success. Between pre-production, filming and post production, Keith Barry: Brain Hacker was twelve months in the making, with TV3 executives saying it’s a physical representation of where TV3 is going as a network.

From March 2014, Keith will also be taking Brain Hacker around the country with a new live show, proving that everything you see on TV can be done live! The live tour kicks off on 14th March 2014. See ‘Notes to Editor’ for a full list of dates.

‘Keith Barry: Brain Hacker’ airs Sunday 12th January at 9pm on TV3.

‘Keith Barry - Brain Hacker’ will be on tour nationwide from March 12th 2014.
